Girls, Math, and Other Clues About How Stereotypes Affect Academic Achievement

There's an interesting event at Stanford's School of Education next Monday at noon about social psychology and academic achievement.  It will be lead by Claude Steele, Dean of the School of Education, and also a prominent researcher on stereotype threat.   If you go, I'd love to hear about it!
