Immigration Interviews

The children did a fantastic job interviewing family members in person, on the phone, and even on Skype.  Thank you for sharing your incredible personal stories with all of us.  We noticed that even though they had different motivations, came during different eras, or had varying degrees of drama surrounding their decision, all our ancestors sought better opportunities by moving to the United States.

This morning the kids shared their reports with the rest of the class.  It also provided a great opportunity to build public speaking skills, including poise, posture, and projection.   Enjoy their stories!
